HCS supports those parents who wish to give their sixth grade students a chance to spend an unforgettable week at Indian Hills Christian Camp in March of every year. Parents gather in the fall to plan monthly events with the students to ensure that the children have opportunities to get to know each other before the big week. Events like Christmas cookie decorating in December, to ice skating in January, to bon fires on the beach in February, are just a few activities that the kids have enjoyed in the past. A traditional post 6th grade camp pizza party allows the kids to swap pictures, and stories, and to further cement those bonds that will last throughout their school years.
