Heritage Christian School

Two years ago, a small group of HCS Moms who live in Mexico and attend Class Days here in the US, decided to reach out to their fellow Christian sisters with the opportunities afforded by home schooling.  A park group was started in Tijuana with about five families.  Word spread, and excitement grew as families began to understand the power of home education as a means to raise their children up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. 

This year, the group has grown to 30 families, and they have rented a church to hold bi-monthly Class Days. Rosarito Class Day meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 9:30am to 1:30pm with a half hour mid-day break for a snack and fun fellowship. We begin our day with the pledge of allegiance, prayer and devotional, continuing with an exciting day filled with a wide variety of classes.  Rosarito offers classes from preschool up through 12th grade, with nursery care available. Preschool and Kindergarten classes include Intro to Writing Letters and Music Appreciation and a fun time for play. Our Elementary classes include Math Games, Cooking, Science (Body and Health), PE, Writing Class and Comic Art Class. In our Junior High/High School classes we will offer Apologetics, Speech and Debate, English and Phonics as a Second Language.

Throughout the year we will have field trips, a Spelling Bee Contest, Monthly Birthday reunions and many festive holiday celebrations. Here in México we are proud to provide, one-on-one support in choosing the right curriculum, encouragement for new families, academic advice,  parent meetings, and our end of the year graduation.
