A unique feature that Heritage Christian School offers to our parents is the ability to not only enrich the education experience of our children through the programs and events provided by HCS, but to minimize peer pressure by equalizing the playing field.  We make available to our members nearly all of the trappings found in the traditional school setting, yet we as parents maintain control of our children's education.  Monthly field trips are planned that give families valuable educational experiences outside of the home.  Every year, a committee of parents forms to organize a 6th grade camp at Indian Hills Christian Camp in Jamul.  A Spring Formal for the high school students offers our young adults the opportunity to enjoy fine dining at one of San Diego's exquisite restaurants.  The end of every school year is celebrated with a promotion ceremony for our kindergarteners, 6th and 8th graders.  Our graduating seniors and their families are honored with a professional cap and gown ceremony.
